psLondon Selected as Lead Creative Agency for Anglia Ruskin University
psLondon Ltd has been chosen as Anglia Ruskin University’s lead creative agency after a rigorous tender process.
The appointment will support ARU’s strategy to further establish its reputation as one of the East of England’s leading research and education institutions, (with a strong profile nationally and internationally) and to develop marketing campaigns to recruit students, staff and business partners.
ARU is one of the largest universities in the Higher Education sector and is committed to attracting and encouraging students for whom higher education may not have been the obvious choice. A high proportion of ARU’s students have a documented disadvantage and the university has demonstrated over many years that it is the ideal choice to help people on their life journey, whatever their background.
The values and passion that are at the heart of ARU are very much shared by the team at psLondon, whose work in the education sector has been predominantly focused on helping educational institutions identify their uniqueness and then bring that to life through branding and marketing campaigns. This drive for authentic branding is built on the view that every university has something powerful and unique to say, but sometimes needs a little help to recognise it and say it.
Mark Garratt, Director of Marketing, Communications and Recruitment at ARU and Chair of the CASE Europe Universities Marketing Forum, has long been an admirer of the team at psLondon. He said: “I’ve watched with interest how they’ve brought a new approach to the sector, making a difference wherever they work. I know they’ll be embarrassed but I do think they are strategic and creative geniuses, and we are delighted to be working with them.”
Robert Pepper, Strategy Partner and MD of psLondon, said: “Being chosen by ARU is very exciting, partly because it plays such an important role in the fabric of our society, and partly because we are looking forward to working with Mark and his team.
“Our best client relationships feel like partnerships, and we are so impressed with how everyone we’ve met at ARU instinctively thinks and acts that way too. Through the work already underway, it is clear that ARU has an incredibly powerful story to tell and psLondon is looking forward to unlocking that.”
