At psLondon, takes on one of the most anticipated nights of the year in higher education marketing, the HEIST Awards 2023.

We’re thrilled to announce that five of our client projects have been shortlisted across a range of categories. Read about our clients below and find out more about the award-winning night.

Solent University, Southampton– Make Waves

In the running for two categories, Solent University, Southampton has been shortlisted for the Best Brand/Reputation Campaign and the Best Use of Data, Insight or Marketing Research award.

We set out to help Solent define a values-led, single-minded brand proposition and used this to create a striking new visual brand identity that powerfully communicates who they are to a wide variety of audiences.

As part of the distinctive brand refresh project, we also trained and united internal stakeholders for them to drive greater awareness of the University from the inside out, and created new collateral materials and templates to support them. Read more…


Imperial College London - Student Hardship Fundraising

In the spirit of giving and support for students, Imperial College London was shortlisted for the Best Student or Alumni Engagement Initiative award.

To rejuvenate new cash donor numbers, as well as increase the regular giving donor pool, psLondon worked with Imperial to develop a fundraising campaign targeting a database of 50,000 alumni.

Built on thorough research and insight, as well as research and application of behavioural science, we created the “What If?” campaign. This campaign included both qualitative and quantitative insights and proved to be impactful yet thought-provoking, reaching wider alumni and non-alumni engagement through storytelling.

University Centre Reaseheath - It's in our Nature Brand Campaign

Cultivating the pioneers of a land-based future, University Centre Reaseheath (UCR) was shortlisted for the Best Brand/Reputation Campaign award.

We worked with UCR to re-establish their brand essence, story and narrative, incorporating the care and support it offers students, while also championing innovation. We then delivered a bold, exciting visual identity, reflecting UCR's personality and allowing it to stand out from the competition. Read more…

University College London

Shortlisted for two categories, University College London (UCL) has been shortlisted for Best Brand/Reputation Campaign and Best Student or Alumni Engagement Initiative awards.

psLondon worked with UCL to increase awareness of the real-world impact of UCL’s research, using their amazing REF21 results as a campaign hook. Beyond research awareness, objectives included brand loyalty growth, retention and attraction of the best staff, students and partners. We uncovered a range of stories during the project that drove us to develop ‘Where research transforms lives’ - a three-month-long campaign with two main strands of activity: celebrating UCL’s REF21 results and surfacing some of the truly transformative research stories across UCL’s channels.


We also partnered with UCL to create the Generation One campaign – a ground-breaking initiative turning science and ideas into actions to tackle climate change. The campaign outputs included a bespoke digital hub, a suite of branded assets, a curated exhibition, a podcast series and a lunchtime lecture series to embed the Generation One campaign into the UCL community, both internally and externally. Backed by research and insight, this campaign galvanised a community of members committed to a new era of positive climate action ahead of the UN’s COP26 summit in Glasgow.

Imperial College Business School - Where Worlds Collide Recruitment Campaign

Fusing worlds together, Imperial College Business School was shortlisted for the Best Postgraduate Student Recruitment Campaign award.

We worked with Imperial College Business School to clearly define its proposition to reach global audiences by bringing to life the intersection of business and technology – a concept which is at the heart of ICBS. The campaign brought this to life by dramatising intersections in important areas including Sustainability, Healthcare Innovation, Finance, Data, Resilience and Digital Transformation.

The campaign was centred around alumni stories, all of whom has their own unique perspective on how ICBS taught them something new and innovative, based on these unique intersections. Read more…
